“The Serpent Queen” is a Starz drama show set in Renaissance Europe. It centers around Catherine de Medici, who was France’s queen regent in the mid-1500s. Considering that Medici was the inspiration for Cersei Lannister on “Game of Thrones”, if you enjoyed that series, you’ll certainly like this one!

If the name sounds familiar, it’s because this sci-fi show originally aired in the late ’80s and early ’90s. It was a cult classic, so it only made sense to reboot it decades later.
NBC starts “Quantum Leap” 30 years after the last episode, after Dr. Sam Beckett went into the accelerator and disappeared. The series centers around a team of scientists restarting the project, headed by physicist Ben Song.
