Nothing Can Stop Bawumia From Becoming The Flagbearer - Donkor Fusein NDC

A member of the Communications Team of the National Democratic Congress (NDC), Donkor Fusein, has said that nothing can stop Vice President Dr. Mahamudu Bawumia from becoming the flagbearer of the New Patriotic Party(NPP)

Former District Chief Executive (DCE) for Sekyere Afram Plains and a staunch member of the National Democratic Congress (NDC) Hon Fuseini Donkor disclosed that over the period, Dr. Bawumia has become popular at the grassroots level in the party and that is easy to be manifested during the polls.

According to Donkor Fusein, the current president Nana Addo Dankwa Akufo-Addo is aware that the party doesn’t like it when a sitting president forces a presidential candidate on them, which is why he is being extremely strategic about overtly endorsing his beloved Vice President.

He claims that Former President Kufuor attempted to impose John Alan Kyeremanten on the party in 2008, but was unsuccessful since the party members accepted that concept.

Speaking on Nhyira Fm monitored byΒ JoyprimeGh.com in Kumasi, Β Mr Fuseini Donkor revealed that, β€œKufuor felt Ghana would be safe in that hands of Alan than Nana Addo but the party also said they knew him (Akufo-Addo) long ago, so the party defied President Kufuor”.

He continued by saying that “they (Akufo-Addo and co.) were smart enough to put the building on the grounds for Bawumia because the NPP party does not want Presidents to choose a leader for them. Therefore, on the grounds that everything for Bawumia has already been built.

They Forget That God Is Not Their Village Chief – Muntaka To NDC Leadership

Muhammed-Mubarak Muntaka, MP for Asawase, has called out the National Chairman of the National Democratic Congress (NDC), Johnson Asiedu Nketiah, for scheming to make him lose his seat.

According to Muntaka, some individuals within the party’s leadership led by Asiedu Nketiah, without mentioning any names, plotted to get him out of Parliament through his removal as a Chief Whip.

Asiedu Nketiah orchestrated the removal of Haruna Iddrisu, Muntaka, and James Avedzi as leaders of the minority bench early this year. Muntaka says it was all an attempt to remove him from parliament.

“They forget that God is not their village chief,” he said after he convincingly won his primaries this week.
wasn’t part of the strategy to get me out. Avedzi wasn’t contesting again, and Haruna didn’t haveany contenders, and I was the only one who had a contender, so to have done that at that time”It wasΒ part of the strategy to get me out,” he said.
“But like I keep saying, God is not their village chief; God doesn’t hate people because you
hate them.” He added.

Muntaka emerged victorious with 1,063 of the total valid votes cast, while his main contender,
Masawudu Mubarick trailed with 735 votes.

Arrogance Akufo-Addo’s And Incompetence Ken Ofori-Atta Have Led Us Here – Mahama On Sophia Akuffo’s DDEP Outburst

Former President John Dramani Mahama claims that President Akufo Addo’s “arrogance” and his Finance Minister Ken Ofori Atta’s “incompetence” are to blame for the nation’s current economic hardships.

He said in a Facebook post on Friday that the current difficulties might not have arisen if the government had responded positively to prior requests for a public dialogue.

According to Mahama, when the economy started deteriorating, he was part of those who stressed the need for consensus to help salvage the situation.

This he said, however, fell on deaf ears, leading to the ongoing widespread public agitations and the gloomy outlook of the economy.

β€œWhen I noticed we were running into an economic ditch, I made several calls for a genuine dialogue and national consensus on an economic programme.

β€œThe arrogance and intransigence of a President, and incompetence of a Finance Minister and the Economic Management Team have led us here.

β€œWe could have forged a broad non-partisan consensus on the IMF bailout and accompanying debt restructuring programme”, Mahama wrote.

β€œAlas, it seems too late now!”, the former President added.

In response to a report concerning Sophia Akuffo’s outburst about the government’s Domestic Debt Exchange Program, the 2020 NDC flagbearer made these comments (DDEP).

Along other irate pensioners, the former Chief Justice was seen picketing the Finance Ministry earlier today in protest over the program’s inclusion of retirees’ investments.

We depend on our bond yields to pay our rent, medical bills, electricity bills, and water bills, she proclaimed while raising a sign.

Speaking to the media, she claimed that despite receiving generous retirement benefits as a result of her position, she still sided with her less fortunate classmates.

The former Chief Justice called the DDE program wicked and unlawful.
